Trip Introduction
Mustang District is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. It covers an area of 3,573 km² and has a population of 13,452. The headquarters is Jomsom. The district is in Dhawalagiri Zone and part of Gandaki Pradesh in northern Nepal, straddles the Himalayas and extends northward onto the Tibetan Plateau. There are lost of thing that we can explore. It is the most famous place to visit.
Day 1-2:Day and night driving
Starts nights bus travelling from Kathmandu to Jomsom. It leaves 2 pm from Kathmandu and reach next day morning at about 8 am Jomsom. We just make 3 hours hike to Kagbeni village and overnight. Good rest and exploration around. Overnight at local guest houses (Foods 2 Dinners, 1 Breakfast and 1 Lunch)
Day 3:Hike to Muktinath temple. and drive back to Jomsom for overnight
It is good to hike from Kagbeni to Muktinath. 4 hours of Hiking is good opportunity to explore local villages, beautiful landscape, Himalayas, Local monasteries and more. The memorial pictures goes here. Reach at Muktinath temple and explore around. Take local jeep drive back to Jomsom for Overnight. Local guest house for accommodation and foods. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
Day 4-5:Walking tour to Marpha village, Apple field and Historical villages
Till your bus departure time, Walking tour to Marpha village. Monastery, Beautiful Marpha village and Apple field. Latter drive back to Kathmandu by local bus. You will reach at Kathmandu next day morning. (Food including: 2 Breakfast, 1 Lunch and 1 Dinner)
