Trip Introduction
Mt. Everest is the highest place in the world and a trek to its Base Camp is an ultimate trekking experience. The best way to live the Everest experience is to witness the morning before sunrise face to face with the majestic mountain that is the closest to the heaven. Another aspect of Everest experience is its people, the Sherpas, amazing people with unique traditions, cultural heritages and lifestyle apart from the Monasteries that are surrounded in pristine wilderness by the himalayas.
The trek is physically demanding yet visually and mentally rewarding. The famous route that Sherpa Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary followed on their way upto the top of Mt. Everest, gains altitude everyday. The trip is planned in a safe way allowing trekkers ample rest along the way.
Major attractions of the trail is the Sherpa villages, Buddhist Monasteries, alpine forests of fir and rhododendron and high suspension bridges. Caravans of Yak along the route to Namche Bazaar and beyond adds the excitement in the trekking. Namche bazzar, a household name for mountaineer and Everest enthusiast, is a colorful, bustling market and filled by tourist and traders alike. Along with Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam offers a breathtaking mountain view during the trek.
